The Third Eye is another name for the Pineal Gland which sits deep within your brain. It has retina and is connected to your other two eyes. It is said to be how mystics pierce the veil of reality and see through to the other world. This other world is also known as the Astral Realm and you experience it when you sleep, also after you die.

This information was taught to students of the ancient mystery schools, who had to sit through years of silence vows to learn one word of this, so consider yourself lucky! These initiates went through many trials involving psychedelic drugs and death simulation, they even slept in coffins for days until their soul left their body and they realised the big secret that there is life after death.
