There are many stories of the history of Christmas. How it was a pagan holiday called Saturnalia and some even think its Satanic! Santa being an anagram for Satan and all… but that’s for the more conspiracy-minded of us I think.

The most interesting theory has to be how Santa’s colours are derived from the Amanita Muscaria mushroom which shamans used during winter in early Scandinavia. The After Skool channel does a great job of telling this story, with illustrations and all!
